A cousin of mine (Boy), was graduating taking up civil engineering. That was way back 18 years ago. He met this girl, very beautiful- as in innocent, arm-lenght hair, sweet, charming, very fragile. But one thing is too difficult to accept her. Its her character. The girl was lazy, bossy behavior, nagger, and unkind. That cousin of mine has been charmed by her beauty, yet he disregard to look and examine her bad behavior. He married her after a week, because he was afraid that she might taken from him by other man. According to him, no man can ever resist her beauty and charmed. Without a second thought, he just said that behavior will change or improve in the course of time, whereas the beauty that his woman acquire right that very moment, will never fade. Years passed, this man was blessed with 4 kids, the eldest for now will turn to a mature lady in time. All daughters and son were very handsome and very pretty. 18 years passed, but this cousin of mine didnt saw anything good and new about her wife's character. He suffered too much. To him its too late, he had chosen the sour fruit. Today, I learned that he and his wife parted ways. Well, in your own opinion, would you act and do the same way he do?

Choosing a bride entails alot. Yeah, we men love beautiful ladies, but not wen it comes to marriages. A man should not compromise in situations like these. If a man wants to date a girl, beauty can be all you think about, but wen its getting married, character and good behaviour must be all you can ever wish for.

my first criteria is to have the same faith as mine. if we have different belief, it will just confuse us and going to church without your partner/spouse is really different. remember when you get married, you become one flesh so going to two different churches on sundays and worship days is not good. or leaving your spouse at home and you're there worshipping alone? i think it's not healthy
