Besides human beings, as most of us have a health insurance, either from our work, or individuals purchase one; pet has health insurance too. They available for most of the vet clinic. A friend of mine who is a dog lover; she has a dog which was sick last month. She has spent 2 thousands for her dog. She was crying that was too much spending for her, while she didn't want her dog just die there. Would you willing to spend that much money for your pet?

I work at a veterinary clinic, and finances are always a problem. I had a cat that I spent thousands of dollars on to pay for her bills and treatment when she developed cancer. There is always a limit and you have to preset your own limit before it comes to that. I will say, however, that most pet health insurance programs are pretty ridiculous. There are a couple out there that are okay, but with all of them you have to pay your veterinarian up front and then submit a claim form for reimbursement. So if you don't have enough money to pay for the treatment initially, having insurance is pointless. Also, I have dealt with clients who had the most difficult time getting claims approved, and it took over three months to get some money back. I wish pet insurance was better regulated. People who complain about human health insurance would die if they knew the specifics of pet insurance. It's terrible.
