Hi all! I am so thankful to my husband because he has been so helpful in taking care of our baby. He is really my helpmate. We bottle feed the baby, let her get sunshine, bathe her, etc, together. Also when I am breastfeeding the baby, he stays with me just in case I have something for him to do, like get me water when I am thirsty or to get diaper or blanket, or whatever. Whenever baby takes a bath, he makes it a point to fix up after I take in the baby. Baby is really fussy when taking a bath. Anyway, I am just so thankful to have him around. He is so helpful. He sometimes even gets up at night to feed the baby himself when I no longer have milk to breastfeed the baby. Yeah, my milk production is not yet enough to feed the baby without supplementing it with formula. Or sometimes, I would feed the baby, then he would make her burp and lull her to sleep and lay her down on the bed. Sometimes, this process takes longer than feeding because the baby still wants to play and not sleep immediately. So he stays awake until the baby gets to sleep. I am so thankful in having such a loving, considerate, and helpful husband. We don’t have a baby sitter and although my parents are helping me now, when we come home on Tuesday at my in-laws’ house, we will be all by ourselves. So my husband and I will have to take turns taking care of the baby. But both of us wake up together when the baby cries either because of hunger or because she pooped. Thankfully, the baby now only wakes up twice at night. So to my husband, a great big THANK YOU. Take care all and God bless you! Happy mylotting!

It is such a blessing having a husband like yours who can aid you in taking care of your new angel. Indeed, it is difficult these days to meet guys who know and like to take part in taking care of babies. Just like in your case, I also have a hubby who does help not only in taking care of the kids but also in doing household chores. cheers and blessings!:)

It's great that she's only waking up twice at night. I remember those 2 a.m. feedings. Did the doctor or your mother mention to you that you can add a tablespoon of baby rice cereal in your bottle at night and it will help her sleep longer and easier? She may still wake up but she won't be screaming and just starving when she does. Many will tell you that babies can't handle cereal until they're 4-6 months old, but all three of mine did at 2 weeks and they were so healthy.
