New Article Directory!

Hey all,
I am starting a brand new article directory where you can post your articles, writings, blurbs, etc and get readers and exposure.
The site is called VeritasArticles. It is free to join and use.
There is a paid membership available, but for the first month or so, I'm going to be giving away memberships at the highest level.
There's Basic (free) , Basic Plus ($5) , and Platinum ($10)
I'll give anyone who signs up Platinum memberships for free until June 1st, 2009

I think you have a very creative idea, but what is the purpose? Why list articles on your site? Are you going to help promote them, or do you have some other intention? There are a number of websites out there that post articles that earn income for the writers, including Helium, HubPages, Triond, Associated Content, and others. How will yours be different?
I know as a writer, I would like a little more explanation of the overall purpose of the site and how you will distinguish your site from all the other writing sites online.
