What do you miss before the age of the internet and computers?

Do you remember playing street games?
Do you remember hanging out with friends every weekend playing basketball or just hanging out?
Do you remember how people have word of honors before since you only talk once and agree on what time and where to meet because there weren't cellphones so you couldn't really say 'sorry I'm going to be late'?
Do you remember actually writing the letters and going to the post office to physically drop the mails? And of course, the excitement of receiving a letter or two?

Hello ladyee. Before the Internet and computers were available to me and most of my friends, I used to spend a lot of time with my friends and my work in my spare time as well as doing some reading. And we had a lot of outside activities like playing table tennis, watching movies and so on, but ever since the Internet and computer are available to us, we seldom did what we used to do. Most of the time, I love to spend it on the Internet with my online friends and sending emails instead of writing letters. Much convenience it has offered us, I still miss those days with no Internet connection because my friends and I had more contact with each other. It seems that it is hard for us to balance the relationship...

LOL! do you think that you can play street games even if computers aren't there?
I have a doubt. LOL
I agree with the last question/ thing. I enjoyed writing letters and waiting for reply. That way I developed patience inside me but now I give an email and within a second it is deliverd and within a matter of minutes, I get the reply too! Those longggggg lovely days are gone when love birds used to write letters and waited to get a reply! Those were days!

I remember, I'm even young by this site's standards and I remember. I used to alot of things...not so much with kids my own age, I had an older half brother and my little brother, sometimes Mom would even play cards with me.
We had board games, we played pretend, later one we'd watch tv.
We kept ourselves plenty busy. Every now and again I think that the computer takes up too much of my time...and I'll take a break from it, but most of the time it's not that huge of a part of my life (these days, anyways).

Hi,
We are pretty sure we miss so many things inlife. We are not pending time with friends and family. Once the work in office is over, again we rae siiting in front of the computer in home. We all know we are spending so much time infront of these instead of our beloved ones. But thats how now th life goes.
