my children are too young to learn how to cook but yes, i'd definitely teach them how to when i felt that they'd be able to do it and all. it's good that your son helps out in the kitchen. how sweet of him, he's able to prepare milk as well. i too like it when my son helps out, and not just in the kitchen but around the house as well.

good to see you as well. my babe is not doing that good, she has ezcemia so it's kind of problematic and also, she seems to be having the flu bug and cough. so been quite busy, and it didn't help that i'm not feeling that good too. so i've been online less now. keep in touch.

My son is too young right now. I will plan to teach all my kids how to cook. I learned how to cook on my own and was never taght. I want my kids to grow up having knowledge of basic cooking at least.

I taught both my girls how to cook when they were little. We would cook together SAturday mornings for all the weekend, including cake for tea time, dessert and a big chunk of roast meat. THey loved it and the kitchen was left a mess. I´m very glad We did it. It´s a very special way of bonding.

That's a good idea, Marketing and I totally agree with you. I don't have kids yet but when I get one I will definitely teach them how to cook. It's really important to teach them to cook even if it's just for themselves because then they won't be depending on processed foods or ready-to-eat foods which are not really healthy as they most contain preservatives. Now that I know how to make Italian foods I think my kids would definitely have to learn to make pizzas and pasta sauce themselves.
