Honest + Doing the right thing ?

So I went to my work (retail) and bought some things that were on clearance + I had an extra disc coupon. Well I went by a gal I liked to work with that is older and very nice. So I had quite a bit of clearance items ect. For whatever reason she gave me that extra discount coupon 2x!! I was like you need to re-do this. She's like nah don't worry about it! I"m like seriously just re-do it, I"m not getting in trouble over this! She didn't want to because she was getting a line and I had bought alot of little things. SO because I have a heavy concious I went back to customer service and asked for the on-duty mgr. I didn't want to be a b***h bout it but it could be my job on the line ya know?!??! SO the mgr took me up front voided the transaction out and re-rang me. Then P was saying... "oh thanks for taking care of that" What the heck?!?!? She didn't want me when the manager wasn't there now did she?!?!? They scrutinzie their clerks soooo much and to me this would be a red flag twards her or both of us and frankly with times being what they are I'm not taking any chances. Do you blame me? Would you of done the same thing? I feel bad if she got in trouble but I need to cover my own butt too!
