It has to be The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame. It is a story about a mole and a rat and their adventures with Mr Toad. It is set on the river near where I grew up. I often read it even now.

Lol... we're still kids at heart, I guess, but I love to watch The Wind in the Willows on screen. I have a whole set of videos, and also, a set of Beatrix Potter ones. Toad makes me laugh... he's nuts, but you can't help loving him when he portrays the character of many an eccentric, upper class guy from the U.K. Brightest Blessings my friend. Hope you're well!

I don't have any favourite author. I used read books when I was in school. Later I did not feel like reading books as it was taking too much time. I switched to reading newspaper daily. I enjoyed reading detective novels like famous five etc. At that time I was involved in improving myself. I happened to read a book, which placed a lot of emphasis on improving ones personality. The book mentioned that we should give more importance to improve our inner personality rather than just external. Reading this book made me more determined to improving myself.

I love all kinds of books, but my favorite author is Dean Koontz. He would be considered horror or science fiction I suppose. I love Watchers and Life Expectancy the most, both kept me riveted the entire time I was reading. I also love fantasy so I love the Harry Potter and Twilight series. I also really like Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I like a wide variety, but I would definitely say these are my top three types of books.

Well I have read so many books so far but the protagonist of the novel "Crime and Punishment" by F. Dostoevsky still linger in the inner races of my mind. The guilty conscience is so beautifully narrated that at times one feels suffocation. Feel like stop the book but still can not stop reading further, The universal theme is really appealing.

My favourite author is Bernard Cornwell, although I like Marion Zimmer Bradley and Terry Pratchett a lot also. Bernard Cornwell writes historic novels. He takes history, mixes it with legend, and stirs in a pinch of humour, to creat some wonderful stories. I particularly liked his Arthurian Series, Viking Series and Quest for the Holy Grail series, but I have read a few individual ones of his, as well. You might like the Sharpe series, I feel. He's written a LOT of Sharpe ones. Brightest Blessings, and happy reading.

Thank you for BR my friend. I love to read historical novels, and you might look out for some of them. I'm sure you'd enjoy Bernard Cornwell's work as well.

I have so many different favorite authors that it is too hard to choose just one. I like Sherrilyn Kenyon, Chinua Achebe, James Patterson, and Ted Dekker. The book that inspired me the most was Chinua Achebe's "Things Fall Apart." because it said so much. I like reading any kind of book, I am always reading.
