Do you feel guilty if you don't visit your parents in the hospital?

Everyday that is. I was wondering this, if you worked down the street form the hospital where your parent was, would you feel obligated to be there everyday until they came home?

I would probably try and pop in if even for a few moments as my parents when younger would have done it for me, and did. Family is precious however difficult they are. I would not have said that when I was younger, by the way.

Of course I would feel guilty if I can't visit my parent/s if confined in the hospital. If I am busy at work and have no time to take care of them, I will get him/her a nurse but I will visit in the hospital every now and then to know his/her conditions.
