what kind of a mother are you

Well both kind and strict mom depending on the situations.

hi meetmehalfway! well, i am just a new mother, with my first baby being only 3 weeks old. for now, i can already feel what kind of a mother i am. i think that personally, i am very strict and overprotective. but i also try to balance myself. i don't want to be too strict to as to confine my baby and not give her liberties. i want her to be able to explore the world around her and learn as much but not to bring harm on herself. i also try to stop myself when there are kids around the baby who also want to caress her etc. i want to be able to share her to others as well because other people are also very happy for us. sometimes, there is the urge to just get my child and hide her but i don't want to be overprotective. so i guess, what kind of mother i am? i would rather be balanced. much as we want to protect our children, i think we should also expose them--not to dangers but the normal, regular things of this world--such as other people. take care and God bless you! happy mylotting ! :D

I have rules. I do not make threats that I can not follow through with. I love to teach and spend time with my children mostly. I like to be friends with my children when there is respect. They respect me and I respect them. It is a teaching, loving, friendly, respectful relationship. Back in the real world I do the best I can everyday and don't think about how hard the teen years were (key word is "were")!

I am a strict parent, but my kids dont seem to mind. They are only 2 & 3 & they are very well behaved because i am strict. My nephew has no discipline & he is a walking terror. I get so many compliments on how good my kids are. But when i tell them no or anything like that, they dont get mad at me. We are very close.
