Do you like studying history? I didn't used to but now I do. My favorite is European history, mainly Italy. I love learning about the Emperors, particularly Augustus, Claudius, Caligula, and Nero. I absolutely love the I, Claudius series and wish I could watch them again. I like how different each of the emperors are and how the way they ruled changed everything. I think Caligula is my favorite because he did so many things that were completely crazy...I mean, he made his horse a consul!?!?! LOL!! What part of history do you like and why? Or, do you not like history?

I never really liked learning about history until my 8th grade year. I had a teacher named Mr. Disney, no he wasn't related to Walt, though we often jokingly called him Walt! He was the only teacher I ever had that made history interesting to me at all. Now, I can't say that I study it on a regular basis, but I do like to learn things now and then about history in general.

I completely understand. I used to hate history. Then I got to college and one of my teachers just made it fascinating and I have taken him for four classes now. I'm in Modern France right now. I wish he would do one on Italy because he knows a lot about the country, but I don't think he will. Thanks for responding!!!
