I just watched alien again. It was just as intense as the first time I saw it. The alien still gives me the creeps. I always thought that maybe the cat had been infected by the creature, but they never went with that storyline. I also enjoyed the second and third movies. The alien vs. predator was a little less entertaining to me. There are a lot of movies that I have watched that scared me, but once I knew how it ended it never had the same effect on me again. Have you ever watched a movie that was as scary as the first time you saw it?

Oh yea! It scared me silly. I have watched it recently to on Encore to. Now Ive seen it so many times it dosent scare me. But I am a horror movie nut. I loved "Jones" the cat. What a beautful kitty! There was a moment in the movie where I thought the alien would get him, but thank goodness it didn't! And sigourney weaver is such a kick butt heroine! The one movie that really scared the pants off of me was Hellraiser. And it is still scary to watch!

The first time I saw Alien, I was 8 years old and it was at a friend's house for a sleepover birthday party. I think there was about 6 of us there. To be honest, I didn't watch the whole thing (actually, I don't think I have ever watched the whole thing to this day). The last thing I remember watching was when the Alien busted thru the guys stomach. I think after that I covered my head with the sleeping bag and went to sleep.

LOL.Yeah, that's a pretty intense scene! I can't imagine watching anything that scary at age 8. However, I did watch Dracula when I was 9, the one with Frank Langella and Sir Laurence Oliver. Oh my, when that Mina (yeah, they changed the names) comes in the underground crypt saying "Papa, Papa" scared the life out of me. Namaste-Anora

I think I've watched all three with Hubby over the years. He loves Sci-Fi movies and some of them are pretty good. I was never much of a fan until we met though. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**

The first time I watched this I was about 7 or 8 maybe. I guess i heard my parents saying bad stuff and when an alien popped up on the screen I said out loud 'what the hel* is that'. Keep in mind i didn't know any better. My dad beat my little tush. Thats the only reason i remember every second of that day. LOL! Kids remember more than you think.
