You made it through the week, its finally friday....you have worked all week whether it was in an office/job or in the house... Do you get a break tonight because its Friday and order out food tonight?? Is it Pizza night at your house?? or do you order out chinese... or is there a special meal that you eat because its Friday? Even if it is something that you cook, do you make or eat the same thing because its Friday or the weekend?? just wondering....

friday nights tend to be a little crazy for us because our daughters both have activities that night, so we sorta rush home from work, make a quick supper then leave again. we seldom go out to eat and we make our own pizza at home but that is more of a saturday meal.

Yes, it is finally the long awaited weekend. I'm thinking of ordering some Italian or Chinese food for the night, a few guests coming over and really busy with cleaning the house. I don't really feel like cooking anything so I think I would be ordering. Later in the night, we might go to the movies or a club.

I would love to have take out every Friday, but our budget is to small. The way our Friday night is different is we stay up real late watching TV or movies as we don't have to get up in the morning like we do the rest of the week.

We saw too fast and two furious yesterday. This weekend my husband wants to fish. We usually clean. I am doing a lot of mylotting. I also will mess with my photography. I am also going to relax. I am spending time with my daughter too. She enjoys our time together and so do I.

I came home from work today and done some cleaning and then accidentally fell asleep. My husband came home and wanted to go to town to get some parts for his dozer so we went and stopped for a ham and cheese sandwich at Pizza King tonight. We usually do try to eat one meal a weekend out but we thought about trying to catch a movie tomorrow and so we didn't plan to eat out this weekend. We sure can't afford to do both.

I don't plan on ordering out tonight. I would like to be able to order out every night of the week. I just don't feel much like cooking lately. I have some pork in the crock pot with some BBQ sauce on it. Not sure what exactly we are going to have for dinner though.

We don't usually have a special meal on a Friday night it is usually me or my partner cooking as normal. We tend to have different meals every week. But today we did go for a takeaway pizza as it is my son 16th birthday and that is what he wanted to have for his dinner. Very nice it was too.

Hello bookreadermom. I was planning of having some food delivered last night (it's already Saturday here in my area) as it has been quite a tiring week. To my surprise, my husband brought some food when he got home. It was really so sweet of him to do this. He passed by Sbarro before heading home. So, we had pizza, baked ziti, spaghetti and chicken for dinner. It was really very sweet of him. We used to dine out on Friday nights...we're trying to avoid doing this now because most places are crowded by rowdy people on a Friday. There's just too much noise and you don't get to enjoy your dinner anymore. How about you, what did you have for dinner? Enjoy the rest of the night and Have a great weekend!

On most Fridays, I cook at home. It would be nice to have a day off here and there to go out and eat, or order and bring it back home or something to that effect but we try not to eat out very much and save our money for other things. (though, getting a break from cooking is what i really want, lol) Since this is my husbands weekend off, we may go grab a bite here or there but it will depend on how well he's feeling after his nap, as he's worked all last night.

funny you should start this discussion...i was just thinking that i really don't have anything in the house to eat, i don't have a car...my husband will be home late, it is yucky out and it is friday. sounds like a perfect night to order a pizza delivery. usually we would have leftovers but we finished leftovers last night. there are just 3 of us for dinner tonight so getting a pie will work perfectly. i like to cook over the weekend but friday nights are lazy. lol!

When I am in the US my family always eats out on Friday nights. We either order pizza, wings, subs or we go out to eat. Sometimes I will go out with my friends on Friday night to eat or do pizza at their place. So when I am in the US I can not even think of a time when I ever cooked on a Friday night. Now I am in Egypt things are a little different. First of all Thursday is their Friday night. Also money is a lot tighter. We don't always have money for pizza and American style food, we do have money to eat out sometimes but it has to be Egyptian places (they are a lot cheaper). Today we actually did order in. We got 2 meals of a 1/2 lb chicken kabob with pita bread and green salads. The cost was less than $5.00 for me and hubby. If we had ordered pizza or burgers it would be more like $15+.

Wow that is a huge difference in price but oh the kabobs sounds wonderful...it has been ages since we had that. That is very interesting the difference between the US and Egypt, I am so glad that you responded and let us know that!! Thanks!!
