Should ACORN be charged under the RICO Statutes. They have a series of criminal convictions and have shown a pattern of such criminal behavior. Now Rep Conures (D) Michigan is calling for a full congressional investigation of ACORN. Are the Democrats afraid of the monister they have created?

I think they are and that is all the more reason to shut them down. Non-profits should NOT be getting tax money! I am so sick of this forced charity.

When the Whitehouse talked about tax changes they want to eliminate the Charity deduction and they will have money in the Budget to give to the charities that will do the most good. Nanny knows best.

I think Conyers call for an investigation is just a political smokescreen whose main purpose is to go through the motions of an investigation and then declare ACORN to be pure as the driven snow. The democrats derive great benefit organizations such as ACORN and their tactics, including voter fraud, and they have no intention of ending that advantage. This whole thing is just an attempt to silence any objection of ACORN, and the role they are going to play in this administration.

ACORN has shown it power to the Democrats just like Code Pink did and then wen off on its own. ACORN needs to be reigned in and controlled. By investigating them and prosecuting a few of the leaders they will send the message that you do it our way or its the highway. Doing this the Dems will show the country that they are not associated with ACORN, yet will continue to fund them with our tax dollars. Not a bad plan.
