Shoul I study for Phd ? Is it necessary?

At present I am a lecture of a college in south of China . I am taking in some electrical information corses . My major is communication as a master and bachalor. Although in others' eyes my job and salary are not bad . I still feel I should study for Phd. Because I often have a sense of knowlege crisis in my study field . It is not enough for me to go on a further discovery . But I am not so young someone persuades me not to go on it . Phd is not easy for everyone it will be hard future ? So should study for it ? Is it necessary?

I think you should go for your heart, if you want to get a Phd, go for it, there's nothing related to our age. Many people got Phd these days, if your field needs it, it is more important you get this qualification.

When I was in college, I met some tutors who studied Phd when they worked, it seemed that they studied something like part-time program. Do you think you can study the Phd this way? I think the tuition fee for this part-time is relatively affordable and you can still work as a teacher there. You can use your spare time to complete your dream.

But I have to meet a problem that I must support myself for getting PHD totally . I am working at a college at present as a teacher So it is necessary to go to study for PHD. Everyday I have much work to do so I have engough time to go over the course for exmamination . I long for successful life . So I know I must get a tough work .

I am still finishing my Bachelors degree but i have already decided that I will pursue my Ph.D. after my Master's Degree. I would advice you to push on with your Ph.D. because it is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity. Education is the only treasure other cannot steal from us. So i suggest to pursue your Ph.D. and be proud of yourself! Congratulations in advance because I know you can do that.

Thank you for your encouragement . We all must take efforts for Phd .And I will a live a pround life not only degree but my value in life . Sometimes ,dreams are lightening everyone's mind .There will be a way to the good future directily. You sure ,I sure . Let's go ahead .Never stop!

i think learning should not stop. maybe you can take Phd. as for me, i am almost finishing my master. i hope soon, i can take Phd too.

But I wanna go abroad for Phd in USA. MIT is my dreaming heaven for study . Yes ,learning is not stoped forever . You know so many difficulties I will face ,my age ,my spirit ..etc. A lot of problems has to be thought over and over . I am afaid of leaving my parents who must feel very sad . Whatever the future will bring me ,I would like to accept it . That is life ,C'est la vie!
