Do you think myLot is the place for gaining some active referrals??

No, I don't really think this is the place to try to get referrals. I think we should try to use myLot for it's original purpose: to learn new things, make friends, to discover new things about different cultures, and to have fun & make money. I think the money we make at myLot should be compensation enough, don't you? I personally don't like when people start discussions just with the intent of trying to get referrals - that bugs me. I do like, however, discussing which sites are legitimate and which are not - I think it's a good idea for us to come together and help each other decide which sites to invest time in (and sometimes even money in). But no, I don't think we should go out of our way to get referrals - I think it's disrespectful and negates the whole point of myLot.

When a fellow mylotter says that he has been paid by the site, then I do believe him but those who just put a link to get referrals, I do not join. I have joined many sites from here and majority of them are paying except the regular new sites which are referred by fellows.
