facebook vs. myspace

i've recently found out that myspace and facebook are on the same social networking levels. are they? i have a facebook account but no myspace account...yet. which is better?

I have an account on Facebook though I don't use it much. I have not got one on MySpace.
My son has one on MySpace but he has not got one on Facebook yet.
So here they are even as we use them both.

No he's too busy.
A wife that takes up his spare time and his music that takes up all the time he's awake. Germany this week and London in two weeks time. No time for myLot for him.

I much prefer Facebook to MySpace, probably because the vast majority of my friends are on Facebook (that, plus the fact that I just find MySpace boring). lol

i tried to look through myspace first and, yes, it is boring. besides its lack of cool applications there is something with the way they present their members that does seem a little less enticing...

I have an account at both places and I personally think Facebook is WAY better than myspace on all levels....In fact i barely even use my Myspace account anymore..but I'm in Facebook several times a day.

I would have to agree that facebook is better. At myspace I always felt like I was on a meat market page. Seemed people were able to search profiles and all they were interested in were naughty things. Take a look at some of the profile pics on there and you will see what I mean. On facebook you have the choice to ask people to join your group and things are done like they are on here instead of them being personally typed by whom ever wants to be your friend. I find facebook to be more family oreinted so I vote facebook.

Facebook better than myspace .. its my opinion. Facebook easier and easier for us in touch with other people.

I use both but I have had Myspace longer. I like Facebook better because it has several fun apps and I like how you can choose different networks to be part of!

Myspace is pretty much crowded with people you may not want to be annoying you. Most of them are selling stuffs, underground musicians who lets you listen to their music or invite you to their gig, etc. It depends in your interests of course like you who's a disc jockey. But if you want something neat and very exclusive, i suggest you stick with Facebook.
