what do you usually do when you are depressed? or how you release

last night,i was rather depressed,my mood like a person falling down the deeply abysm.during that time,i really want to eat many things,to go shoping, to spend money,only after that,i may feel a little comfortable.i think the methods i relax myself are eating and shopping. so i really want to know what do you usually do when you have a bad mood,which method do you use to make yourself becoming happy again. maybe i can try it later.

When i am depressed or not feeling well I go to sleep . I sleep for 5-6 hours .I just try to forget about the incident which got me depressed. Once i wake up i am fresh and watch Tv or play games and get back to my work.

sleeping is a good idea to release.but i think i can't absolutely forget the thing which made me depressed.

From time I think we all experience a time where we feel a little down and depressed and not sure where to go from here. The biggest thing is what we choose from there to get out from it, without allowing it to take over our life as well. For me when I find myself having a down day I will try to find things to do to keep me busy and motivate me to think other thoughts. I also will listen to uplifting Christian music, Pray, read my Bible and reflect on the Good things instead. It could be so easy to allow it to control me to where all I want to do is sleep, but that is not good for sure.

I usually just sleep on it, but it seems that tactic don't work anymore. I am actually depressed today, emotional problems do bug me down. And worst of it all, I can't deal with it alone, the person I am depressed with won't even talk to me. Whew! Anyway, life must go on. So now, I'm doing myLot at the same time listening to Classical and Meditation music. It helps me soothe my hurting heart, at the same time keeping me sane hehehe.. Hope we all could be happy again!

Lets just say in my part i recently got depressed with my gf and mom for there behavior what I did was face each one of them and try to point out where they went wrong even if it will hurt them I have to be totally honest on how I feel in this way I can release whats making me mad and with this I can be totally free from those problem and if everything is settled then I can be happy.

i think you as a middleman between your gf and mum ,may have to bear many afflications.but in mu eyes what you have done to them is right.as a husband and a son,you must point out where they are wrong,maybe that time they don't understand you,but after that,i'm sure they will comprehend you.and i think your family menbers will get along with each other.

if I am feeling down I play with my kids and they are my driving force. Tho I dont get down too much as its all in the mind, live life and enjoy all the challeneges it brings.

When you are depressed you may have a deep breathing for how many times. then you may go outside the house to get fresh air and you may talk to your friend.

When I feel depressed, I tend to go for a walk, maybe in the park or just some quiet place. I sit down and think for a long time, sometimes one or two hours, sometimes even a whole day. I think no one is willing to keep himself/herself in a depressing situation cause it is really not a good thing. So I try to reflect on the matter that makes me upset which helps me to relax.

Hello friend, I like music a lot and that is the thing I trust upon when I am depressed. I switch on my laptop, plug in my earphone and play my favourite music. It helps me relax and get over the depression.

Most of the time I'm happy but there are times when I don't feel like doing anything and just want to be left alone.Someone told me that if you are depressed you should listen to joyful music.It's just the opposite with me.I don't know why but I tend to listen to sad music when I'm sad.It can't do any good,but it relaxes me.Anyway the fastest way to get out of a depression is to get out with your friends and try to have some fun.

When ever I'm in a sad mood i just lay down on my bed or couch and stare at the ceiling. I don't know why I do that but it just relaxes me and makes me feel better.

One of the best method that works for me is working out. That does relieve a lot of stress. Try it sometime and let me know how it went.
