Do you enjoy visiting a garden center?

I find that it is really enjoyable to visit a garden center. I bought some things there this morning when I was shopping. However a trip to a garden center could be great fun for a family that want a free day out. I purchased two palm like plants for my garden and they look so pretty. They where a bargain because and items in the garden center had 15% of the original price. I know a huge garden center about half an hours drive from my home and it has a pirate ship and playground for children. I have seen children enjoy looking in the play houses, sheds and summer houses.
Do you enjoy visiting a garden center?

I love visiting garden centres but, rarely get a chance these days as money is a little tight and it just meakes me feel bad seeing all the wonderful things and not being able to enjoy them!! x

Wow! £150 - I hope to soon start on my garden and finish by the summer but, it does depend on finances! x

I like plants and I would enjoy a garden. i like planting gardens and I would especially like to have grapes growing in my yard. Cheers!!!

I love visiting gardening centres. Our local one has beautiful things in it, apart from the plants. Birdbaths, lanterns, sculptures made of metal and glass in the shape of birds and animals - and lovely water features. There are lots of lovely gift ideas. I love it when we get the garden ready in spring, and go out to choose new annuals, etc. It's a nice time of year.

hey there yeah we love going to the local garden centre,
even if we dont buy anything we have a look at the aquatics with all the fish, and have a run about the shed etc etc
tho only down bit I usually end up spending money lol, he he he
tho they also have a play ground which is cool, and on the way out we usually grab an ice-cream.

It sounds like you have much fun at the garden center with your kids. The large garden center I know has lots of aquatics. I like to look at the tropical fish and see their beauty. The playground sounds great and getting ice creams must be relaxing. Spending money is tempting.

I do love garden centers and can spend hours and hours there.
Often I tell myself I am going for just this and that. I go and get what I need and get out, otherwise I wind up spending far more than I budgeted for.
If I am feeling like just wandering for awhile and have some questions, the garden center, particularly the green houses is where I like to go. I learn so much when ever I go to a garden center and enjoy it very very much. It feels so good to be around the plants.

We have a botanic garden with all kinds of plants from other parts of the country. I especially like the huge greenhouse to accomodate the tropical plants. There are also some country peach tree gardens in the suburbs, with festival activities. And from time to time, public parks will organize flower exhibitions, for instance, tulips in springs, lotus in summer, and chrithansm in autumn. I like to visit these gardens and usually come back with a lot of photos.

I love them to I think they are quite relaxing and peacefull places , every one strolling about admiring and choosing ..My brother and his wife have been taking me with them to look round some out in the countryside Ive brought a few really nice plants .. There are some bargains out there .. *

The home have a garden is beautiful.My home ever have a garden,before two years.I remember that me always go to garden alone play when school is over.Doing some interesting thing.when I think of that.I felt fun.Reallying hope to return young age.I had claw a hole for pisoicoaltare and plant trees.
But now I had moved home,The home don't have a garden .
It so unfortunately.

I love to walk through garden centers. I love to just look at the flowers, stop & smell the roses so to speak, LMAO!!! I have an addiction to plants, I love all kinds, from vines to roses & bamboo plants to trees. I love them all!!! One of the garden centers I visit have birds that have nest inside the center & I love to here them sing, for they sound so very happy among the plants. They have their nest up in the high ceiling of the garden center. The garden center is opened up & you walk through it with no doors to the center. And it is very breezy & when the breeze comes through the building you can smell all the beautiful flowers.

ya i also know a big garden center. it is far from my home but i like to go there once in a month.I am also very fond of gardning.i love roses plants of different colors.i have almost 12 colors of roses in my small garden but really it looks very beautiful when different kinds of butterflies and flies on those roses.i totally agree with u also i want to know how such kind and colors of flowers produce from plants,what a magic

You did well with your palm plants, my friend. They will be quite decorative during the summer months when you sit outside.
Yes, I like going to the garden centre and having a browse around. When the kids were small, they used to like to play in the one open playhouse, and they loved wandering through the aqua centre, looking at all the different types of fish. I also like to drop into the barn restaurant there, and have a bowl of soup if it's around lunchtime. If not, I'd probably have a scone or cake and a cup of tea.
