if a black cat happens to cross you when you are going out .... what does that mean ?? it means that the black cat too is going somewhere

Here in the Philippines when you are walking somewhere and a black cat cross your way it means bad luck. You should not go wherever you want to go because there something wrong might happen. But it's only one of the beliefs and superstitions of old people here.

here in india too people believe this. if a black cat crosses your way. its bad luck. its nice to know that being miles and miles away , two countries follow almost the same supestitions. high five . have a great day

hahaha good one. But in India we believe when a cat and specially Black Cat cross the road then you should change your way otherwise something wrong can happen. And it's happen with me once. So i belive on it.

hi,,hi,,hi. i am an indian too. and that's why i put up this one as a joke. i have no clue if they consider a black cat as a bad omen in the western countries. i believe it is a bad omen 'cause i had experience.. bad ones !! thanks for the response. have great day

In the States it is a myth that if a black cat crossed your path it means bad lick for that day. The thing is I used to own a black cat and he crossed my path all the time and I never once had bad luck. It is a fairy tail myth if you ask me.

That is hilarious. A black cat darted in front of my car last night and almost got run over! It was a three lane street and the driver on the side of me clearly didn't care.
