Have you learned any foreign languages that you can speak relatively fluently? How old were you when you first started learning this language?

aside from my official language that is Pilipino, since i am a Filipino (from the Philippines), i can speak, read, understand English fluently. it is my 2nd official language. i am learning Japanese right now, and it's been almost a year since i've been reading and listening to Japanese books and movies. it's a very tough language to master. hope that one day, i could speak Japanese as my third official language.

Hi, what do you consider foreign language? Because in my case, my first language is English but my mother tongue is Mandarin. I can speak pretty well in both. Besides that, I do know another language which is the official national language for my birth country. I can speak fluently in that language either, so none of this language is actually consider foreign language for me.

I speak 4 languages total...and I speak them them well. I am Canadian so I speak fluent English and French. I am of Romanian background so I also speak Romanian. I studied in Italy and lived there for more than ten years so I speak Italian fluently. it is not bad knowing many languages. What I suggest to anyone out there is if you want to learn languages is better to learn a few but well rather than learning many and be unable to have a conversation in any. Cheers to all
