He told me God does not exist and that it is all manufactured by the church to instill fear into the masses during the middle ages. This scares me as i go to church every sunday morning but tomorrow i will stay in bed with a bottle of red wine and get drunk. the irony of getting drunk drinking 'his blood'. What can i do if god tells me he is a myth perpertrated by man? please help me , my soul is in turmoil.

If God doesn't exist, WHO sent you the vision saying that He doesn't exist??? It sounds to me like Satan is trying to keep you out of church tomorrow. Maybe God has a special blessing in store for you at church tomorrow? Maybe God wants you in church tomorrow because something you will say or do there tomorrow will bless or influence someone who is in need of salvation or someone who is just in need of encouragement or direction. Satan knows that he can't get your soul if you are already saved, but he will still try to keep you from doing the things God wants you to do, because he not only wants to stop other people from getting saved, he also wants to get between you and the blessings God has in store for you.

but it was god that came to me in my dream so i have to believe that he does not exist if he tells me he does not exist. God does not lie therefore he does not exist. And if god does not exist neither does the devil.

Dude you are contradicting yourself...in order for God to have came to you in a vision, God would have to exist...Otherwise He would not be around to come to you in a vision... Otherwise it would be like saying that you are drinking from a glass of water, when there is, in fact, no glass of water to drink from...

If God is the one who spoke to you, He must be real. Why should this put your soul in turmoil? You know that God is real and that dream is a lie from the devil.

How come that your soul is in turmoil if your god has told you there's nothing to worry about spiritualities? I just wonder how the early church fathers took the beatings if what they would be dying for is a myth, or worse, a lie.

Why would God himself told you that He does not exist. Something is definately wrong with your dream, if you said God told you in a dream that he does not exist, then who told you this in your dream. If He doesnt exist, why would he speak to you. Someone else is speaking to you, you must learn to listen to the voice with the good news, you need to pray about this dream and ask God to direct you and give you the answers as you are being mislead by the devil and these thoughts that he is putting into your head. And drinking and getting drunk will not give you the answer, so quit doing that and instead read your Bible and continue to pray, you can also speak to the Paster or the Elder of your church and ask for prayer. If you continue with your drinking, then you will have more dreams and worse than this one. Are you sure you were not drunk when you had this dream.

My advice is that you stop watching movies prior to going to bed that have George Burns or Morgan Freeman in them.

LOL Surely God was just drunk like you and trying his hand at existentialism? Why not just take your bottle to church with you same as usual and see whether God has sobered up enough to join you? xxxx

This is totally like one of the Star Trek episodes where they get the attacking machine to explode itself with a paradox. "God told me God doesn't exist. What do you think of that X4-77?" "Bzzzz. Wait. What?" Boom!

i used to think god was real. in fact one time i was flying in an airplane heading to a wild party in Siberia, and i actually saw god. but the wing of the plane hit god's big toe and he started to shrink and fell off his cloud. that's when i realized god was just a giant blow-up doll. may The Great Bear In The Sky bless you.

Are you being emotionally stressed about all the religious debates and whatnot? It's not necessarly "god" or "satan" or whoever that "came down" to you in your dream telling you those things, it could simply be your mind perpetrating your emotional and psychological worries and fears about the matter in the shape of a dream; dreams often tell what lies deep in the human heart, especially when they happen in a deep slumber where the person can't "control" what he's seeing. If that happened to you in such a state then you shouldn't emphasize on it too much and don't go off wrecking your body over it!

You are right. The one who appeared to you was the true God, your own inner consciousness. The true God told you that the false God - the God as portrayed by religion, the God of Bible and Quran- does not exist. Why is your soul in turmoil? You ought to be glad. The dictatorial God does not exist. The one that exists is a God of love and compassion, a God of which you are part and parcel.

Respond in kind and tell (your) God your a myth perpetrated by God. In all seriousness I make that statement. You can tell him in your head, or you can shout drunkenly at him with an empty bottle in your hand either on the roof of your house (recommended, unless there is an ornate amount of snow there) or in the middle of the busiest intersection of town. Be sure and time the lights so you are not hit by a passing motor vehicle. Going to Church is a waste of my time, your time, and my God's time. He will listen whenever you speak, just be sure to start something like "My father thou art in Heaven, Sanctified be your Name, which is "insert your gods name here". Then pour out your soul. If your God's place of residence is not Heaven, or you believe him to be on vacation, insert the appropriate terminology, don't worry, he will check his messages soon enough. Cheers, Amen.

You say God told you this. God told you, God does not exist. There you go. Of course God exists, other wise He could not have told you. The reason you had a dream like that, is probably because you are afraid that this may be the case. You may have read somewhere, that people say religion is to make people afraid. This got caught in you head, and you made up your own dream. People often dream about things they have seen or heard of in the recent past. It could be your fear of being lost, if indeed God does not exist. That may be scarring you. It is bothering you, that is why you dream t it. Advise: Go to church tomorrow and talk about this to the people you know. Believe me, it will feel much better tomorrow. Take care, wishing you all the best.

I hate to point out the flaw in your dream last night but if God does not exist then there is no way He could come to you and tell you He is not real. And if He exists (and I know He does) then why would He come to you and tell you that He does not exist. Think about it. I think that if you do go to curch every Sunday then you need to get out of bed tommorow and get into the church, talk to your pastor (or whatever you call him) and get some group praying done. Until then you might want to not drink, and instead think about your faith. Perhaps read your Bible.
