I believe India is a very nice place to visit. It has a history that's very interesting and its culture is fascinating. The people are interesting as well and I'd like to meet one of them if I get the chance.

The most famous tourist site in India is the Taj Mahal and that is situated in Agra. There is an interesting route that goes there called the Golden Triangle and it begins in Delhi. I have heard of the River Ganges and have seen photos of it. It looks like a very religious place. I have known about Goa for years and now I have found out about another palm fringed beach and back waters called Kerala. India is huge and it sounds like there is so very much to see. One of my friends has been there three times and still hasn't seen everything. I hope to go to India one day and when I do I will travel around by train.

Hi maximax, I just caught this discussion and being an Indian i would say avoid train jouneys in India as much as u can. Its not at all a safe way to travel here in India and u being a foreigner may face even more difficulty. When u tour India choose air passage and always bring some 1 with u. I mean yr husband or a male friend. India is a beautiful country, lots to explore but it can get very dangerous as well. So better be safe than sorry. Cheers, Tutul

Being an Indian, I am also proud of Indian places, indian culture. We can see the diversity in culture in every part of India.I think each Indian should first travel to all Indian places instead of going abroad places.because first we should try to understand our country and then try to evaluate more in outside world. There are lots of places in India according to season.Means you can go to North India in winter,Kerala in rainy days accordingly. Also, India has thousands of years historical background. Some of the palaces, forts are still in good condition to be watched. Also, Taj Mahal , one of the beautiful place, on Earth is here.
