Where can I find really cheap motels in the west la area for under $300 a month for him to move into until he can get a job and a home. He has no where to go and he can't live with me. He can't seem to get into shelters, and many of them have to long a waiting list. He's also an ex convict. So this seems the best case senerio.

i haven't any idea about that one because i am belongs to my own home town and country so i don't know particular rents of that so we wish he will be in good position in coming days.

how about asking your friends or your neighbors if they accepts lodgers I really thing they would accept him as their lodgers and I think motel is a lot more expensive than letting him stay in one of your neighbors or friends house.....Well my friend this is just a suggestion since I dont know much about your place......
