what type of dog do you own?

i own a golden shepeard(germen shepeared/golden retriver) and a terrer/germen shepard mix.

Ours is a male standard type shih tzu... He's already almost 2 years old... He's such an adorable and loving dog... :)

I don't have any dog at my home but you can find my cat so that is only one pet so it is very nice cat which understands our language what we are saying to him.

We have a hound dog, she's a walker hound which is a little bigger then a fox hound. She tends to be snippy but is mostly just lade back hound dog.

I have two full blood Shih-Tzus. One is 11 and the other is 9...my poor boys are getting old. But they are the most loyal creatures on this planet I think. Dogs are by far the best pet and friend a person could ever have. I know that I can't live without at least one now. But one is never enough...because then he/she is lonely when you are gone!!! lol.

I agree that a dog needs to have canine companionship and I would never have just one. One of my Lhasa Apsos had never been alone until I took the other for a vet appointment. Poor thing tried to scratch his way out the door. After that, if one had to go to the vet, the other came along for the ride. Don't worry about your boys getting old. My mom's Shih Tzu lived to be 17 and my Lhasas were 15 and 16 when they passed. Older pets sometimes need special suppliments and may also need to see the vet a little more often. When my second Lhasa passed on, I couldn't stand not having a little friend. I lasted a month before getting my Yorkie. She was quickly joined by a Yorkie/Cairn Terrier mix for my mom when her dog passed away. Then we got a Chihuahua/Papillion for my daughter. Cutest little thing you ever saw.

She looks like a Rat Terrier, but she's a chihuahua, dachsund, pit bull maybe and a lot more mixes that we have no idea what. Even the mother's owner had no idea who the father was and what the mixes were. But the outcome is a Rat Terrier look a like. strange

We got our dog from a private breader. The lady there called it a "rescue", but that was not true. She said the dog was a Miniature Schnauzer, but it turns out she is a Westie. She is awsome.
