if you could Always see one, which would you choose, the sunrise or the sunset? Me, I have always been a night person so I would pick the sunset. To me it is the best part of the day.to see the beautiful orange drop into a great , deep blue sky. So in my perfect home would have a bedroom that faces west. How about you?

that is a hard one, they are both beautiful, i am a night person so the sunset would be the one I would see the most but I love a sunrise when I do get to see it, I think the sunrise is nice because it is the promise a new and joyful day.

I must be more of a pessimist than I thought. SI see sunrise as the end of a beautiful night,. I don't assume that the nect day will be joyful.

I like sunrise (the few I've seen) but I prefer sunset because it's more suggestive and romantic..

Being a night owl myself, sarah, I would prefer the sunrise because watching the dawn of a new day is so exhilirating! I must say that I have watched many sunrises in my time and have even been inspired to write poetry about them(I even had one published). I suppose that what I really like about a sunrise is the promise of a new start to a brand new day.

Sunset - Manila Sunset...
Others barely notice that Manila has one of the best sunset in the world. You don't have to be near Manila Bay to observe it.
I love both but I prefer sunset. Every I am new to a place, I make it a point to watch the sunset. When I'm in a beach or on a mountaintop, I do allot time to see the sun going down in the horizon, skies filled with differently colored clouds, and the magical transformation of day into night.

I, like you, are a night person. Though, sun rises are pretty, especially over the ocean, I don't like to be up that early and out and about making my mind work to enjoy the beautiful setting. I would much rather be out and about in the evening watching it go down, makes a good day come to an end with a gorgouse sunset happening.

Im not so much of a day person too.. So i would pick sunset. It is so relaxing to see the sun set after all the work that has to be done. And it also an alarm clock for me ^_^. But a don't always have time to see them coz i live in the urban zone so it difficult to find a good spot where you can relax as you watch the sun go down.

I like the sunset, because I am really not a morning person. While I'm rarely awake for the sunrise, I am always awake for the sunset. The last time I saw a sunrise though, was when a friend of mine drove from Toledo OH up here to Guelph ON, and we left really early in the morning.

I am a night owl .The only way I see the sunrise is by staying up all night. It is like a reward."I stayed up all night! Yea!"

Hi sarahruthbeth, I am a night owl and like enjoying work on computer until the early wee hours. It is really difficult for me to get up early to watch sunrise though I like the scene in the early very much. I prefer to sleep soundly in my comfortable bed when the sun rises. I had watched the unforgettable and fascinating sunset twice together with my good friends. One was at the top of a mountain when we visited Cambodia 3 years back. The other one was at the beach when visiting Bali Island two years ago. I think I am the type of person rather suit for sunset for I could enjoy watching it relaxingly during evening instead of in the early morning, my sweet sleeping time. Happy posting and have a nice day.

I prefer the sunset simply because if I wanted to see the sunrise that would mean I would have to get up EARLY in the morning. I am not a morning person, so I will pick the sunset instead. They are both beautiful however!

This is a though decission for me, and normally i would say sunset because they are so lovely in the nothern part of Europe, they go in any colorrange between yellow-red-blue-black. If your lucky there is even a chance to see Borealis :) Though i did for a period had a summerjob where i worked during very early morning hours and got the lovely experience to see the sunrise aswell, but in the end i think sunset wins, though sunrise seems more "fresh" in the colors

A sunset is a very nice moment to witness, but i'd rather choose Sunrise than Sunset, coz a Sunrise reminds us that God has blessed us with another day to live, another chance to make a difference in people's lives - to be a blessing to them, and another day to bring glory to the Almighty Creator.

sunrise - sunrise is very beautiful
Although they look similar, but I like sunrise much more. As to me, sunrise stands for the brand new day and new hope. You can start to do anything at that time. The sunset represents the day is over. I love China

hello sarah :-) i love to watch both, but if i have to choose i prefer to watch sunrise than sunset. it is because sunset is somewhat gloomy to watch, and it represents endings which can be quite sad. sunrise represents new hope, new day...i love sunrise!

I feel the ciomplete opposite, Sunrises are depressing to me, They are the end of the beautiful night, I am glad I usually miss them,

i am a night person as well but i love seeing both the sunrise and the sunset especially in the beach/seashore. sunrise for me, is the start of a brand new day, a day were i should make the most out of everything that i will have for that day. it is a sign that i am still alive and breathing. alive one day at a time. while sunset, is the mark of the remaining hours before i call it a day. it's the start of the loneliest and saddest part of my day. i tend to be more quiet, private and serious after sunset.

I fell the most alive when the sun goes down. It begins the best part of the day. The sun goes down and there is so much to see and do, The Sunrise for me is sad, It means the end of the beautiful night.I am your polar opposite.

I love sunrise as it is the start of a beautiful day as sunset would mark the end of a day of your life. I love fishing so sunrise would definitely a nice way to start my day fishing. Cheers, Cest_moi

oh my gosh! this is such a hard decision to make, as i love them both alot, i like the sunrise because its the beginning of the day and where i live the sky is a light blue and pinky colour when the sun is rising and its turning into day, its lovely. Then i like sunset because its amazing seeing all the colours come together and i love taking photographs of it, ive actually got quite a few. I love the blues, oranges, pinks, and even purply pinks what form together in the sunset, they are both absolutely gorgeous, so i definitely cannot decide on one, soo both! :)

Then you need a house where you can see both sunrise and sunset.
