Is Running good than walking?

hi friends, Is running is good than walking some people say running is good and remaining one say walking is better than running so i prefer walking than running so which one do you prefer either running or walking.

i have to prefer walking to running too. poor me. actually i prefer running. but i had problem with my knee. so i have to choose walking rather than running.

Most of the time better to walk because we won't get tired and we can love to walk because we can observe whole nature things.

yes you are right. when i was in my home town. i always had morning walk with my mother and explore things our surrounding. that was my nice memory. i wish i can do that here.

You can keep on walk early in the morning and your health will be back so you need fix time table for that one. Then your body help you on the particular time.

I would say walking is better than running. Walking has less impact than running. Walking is less stress on the body and you can meditate more when you walk than run. Walking to me is peaceful and serene. I enjoy walking. Running is exhilarating in itself but I prefer to walk.

Energy levels high when you walk becaus physically you are spending energy is less so your engery levels will be high so have you observed anything on that one.

well, you run (no pun intended) to get shin splints from running and you don't when you walk, you also run a greater risk of other injuries if you, say, fall you do have to walk longer than you need to run, but other than that, walking is probably safer.

It is preferable and safer one so early in the morning i like to go so much becasue i can the cool weather conditions at my hometown.

it will burn when we run fast on the ground so it is naturally happens so i love tow walk in the early morning so what about you?

I read somewhere that walking is better because you don't get tired easily by doing it and since it allows you to walk longer, you get to burn more calories. But if you want more heart pumping, then running is recommended.

surely we wont' get tired when walk so it is pleasent thing when we walk on the road so we can observe the calmness and all the nature gifts so that is really wonderful things for us. how many hours do you spend on walking most of the time.

hello. i think both are good forms of exercise. it depends on what suits you best. they say though that walking is the best form of exercise.

I think most people will say running is better. But for me, I walk all my working hours (my job require walking and pacing) that I think I have burnt my calories with walking just like running for 20 minutes. I guess it's walking for me.

When you job requires walking then it is good for you so then surly it burns calories from your body and makes you very active with in short time. i do prefer most of the time so do you prefer to walk morning or evening.

Well, I think it depends on what you are going to do. If you are talking about exercise, then running would most likely give you more endurance and more burned calories. But in normal activities, walking would be the practical thing to do. I have read that walking at least 20-30 minutes at least 5 times a week will definitely improve health. It will also reduced the risk of hypertension, heart disease and other cardiac related emergencies.

Especially i love to walk more than 10 times in week so when i want to go most of them i go out side on foot. That is wonderful experience to me to watch all the nature gifts so have you walk daily?

I prefer walking too because I find running causes too many injuries for me. I used to do a lot of aerobic dancing and, because I am prone to it, I ended up with shin splints which are stress fractures to the shins and it renders even normal walking to become very painful. Running aggravates my shin soreness and the constant jarring is not good for me, so walking it is; it's a great past time and you can turn it into a meditation session if you like or just listening to music while you walk is very pleasant.

If you have any problem in running so better to go for walking only so i often get tired when i run many kilo meters so i always prefer walking so especially in the morning i like to walk.

I like walking,for I am in the school now ,and the life rhythm is not so fast ,and I also do not like the fast life rhythm,so if it is not necessary, i usually walk on my way.

Hello,I think of running and walk is good exercise .They are able to exercise .But the strength of running, not too easy. While walking for everyone ,can make a person long .Walking can listen to music,can increase the pleasure that physical exercise not boring ,more interesting. Choose which kind of sport,the key is to see if suit oneself,suit oneself only is the best.
