How do you deal with a friend who is competitive?

hehe, well i got this kind of friend..well the things that i usually do is that i hide her my achievement because if she learned this she do her best to put me down..she is so jealous and very competitive with me..although i don't feel the same to her..but i also like her because she is very friendly and approachable she not just happy whenever i goes on top..

Oh, there are a lot of competitive people in the world. Some are genuinely trying to better themselves and succeed, and some are just trying to bring themselves forward for recognition, or beat their neighbours. I admire the former, but the latter, I have no time for, and will ignore. Brightest Blessings my friend.

Someone I was dating for a while was like that and it drove me crazy. Anything we did together was a competition and if he lost he was pretty irked about it. Friends that are like that generally don't get called that often because its just too frustrating to be around them. I had one friend that would race to the car - imagine a grown up being so competition obsessed that she would run to the car just to get her hand on the handle first. I learned the hard way that sometimes its better to spend a Saturday night alone at home than to subject yourself to people like that.

be competive w/him. there is nothing wrong w/competing w/a friend or anybody else. alwauys do the best u can do in any situation. that's all u can do.

I know some people who are very competitive but I just try to ignore that side of them for most of the time. And if I ignore it, after a while I don't even notice it all that much. After all, what's the use of competing with someone who isn't even trying? :)
