It occours to me that there is so many different people around the world, and also among these people that have never left thier country, not even on a holliday. Where other people have taken it the step further from hollidays in another country to actually moving there. Moving to another country can have different reasons though. What is your reason for where you are located in the world right now?
Im personally born in Denmark and have lived there for the first 24 years of my life, i happened to meet a dutch guy with whom i felt in love, so now i have taken the step and moved to the Netherlands. Beside that i have visited most countries in Europe through my sport, and the future brings to visit the rest of the world :)

I am English but I moved to Italy to live 34 years ago - today!
I was working in an hotel in London and met an Italian chef. We came here fot two weeks holiday and stayed here
I prefer Italy to UK. The people, the way of life and the scenery all helped in deciding that I remained here. I go back toUK twice a year as family is still there but 'home' is here and I'm always happy tobe back.
Which sport caused you to travel?

Yeah im often leaving to Denmark for family purposes, or other reasons. Though after just 3 months in the Netherlands i allready feel it like home, i do though have a hard time decided which country i like to live in the most. If i could combine them it would be perfect.
Currently im an Air Rifle Shooter, shooting for the Danish National Team, my goal is the OG in London 2012 :P And im actually going to Milano in may, for shooting a World Cup...

I'm born in Canada and, when I was five years old, and my sister was four months old, my parents chose to live in Edinburgh, Scotland, for a year, as my father wanted to take a sabbatical for that amount of time. However, that was the only time I lived in a different country, other than the one I was born in.

How did you find it? If you remember back then ofcause
I find the similarities between Denmark and the Netherlands quite common in most places, though the healthcare systems are different than the danish, the only thing i do not like here.

But have you ever been out travelling, as in somewhere else than England? To see other parts of the world, but not nessecarily to live there.

I think visiting cultures that are different compared to where your from are always nice, none the less the final destination. It does though help that im from Europe, so it is easier to visit the countries here, and if you compare the continental size of Europe with the rest of the continentals we also have shorter distances to travel, which makes it somewhat easier.
Even in Europe i have found many different cultures just a few houndred kilometres appart. Its pretty amazing.

I was born in New Zealand and after backpacking around europe 6years ago i met my now husband in italy. He is from england and after spending time together we decided to spend time in each others countries for a while to see how things went and how we felt. We decided to marry and live in new Zealand that was 3 1/2 years ago and we now have a 2 1/2 year old son and another baby due in august. one year ago we decided to come to england and sample living here ive had great difficulties getting used to the whole thing and am not sure if im totaly happy with the desision! we are going back to NZ next month as i would like our 2nd child to be born in the same place as our 1st!! We will prob end up staying there as hubby loves it and was happy over there. Besides i have a verry lage family back home and it would be difficult for them all to visit us in uk! To be honest we would be better off in nz as well as both our jobs pay better and the cost of living is cheaper! I also feel nz has better opertunities and is a far 'safer' and stable environment to bring up the children.

I can imagine that, my bfs dads sister (okay that was long out) apparently moved to New Zealand and havent returned, so it must be a good place ;) And if you both are happy about the choice of beeing in NZ rather than England, then it is where you should be.
The payment is also far better in Denmark than here in the Netherlands, but i guess that isnt the most important to me, everything considered.
