First I lost the capability of listening to my radio station that I like--the promo loaded and played but no broadcast. Now Firefox crashes for no reason that I can see. I scanned my computer and I have no viruses of infections. Does anyone know why Firefox would crash and what I can do about it?

I don't know why it would crash but I do suggest reinstalling it. Something could have accidently removed part of it and that could be the cause. So by reinstalling it would fix the problem.

Thanks. I was very surprised, since Firefox is usually so reliable. I thought about reinstalling it but I'd lose all my bookmarks! I'm still thinking about it.

It might because of the unstable of your firefox version,do not use the newest version which is often in beta stage or so they are easy to crash..

I had no choice, it automatically updates. I'll have to fiddle with the settings, I guess. I was going to uninstall and reinstall it but realized I'd lose all my bookmarks so I'll just put up with it for awhile.

mine as well, it crashes says "MOZILLA FIREFOX (NOT RESPONDING)"...it always happen and i don't know why. my computer don't have many applications that could slow down my computer and sites that are harmful but it always crashes. and when it crashes/hanged up, it takes a minute or two before it resumes.

People have told me to uninstall then reinstall it but I'll lose all my bookmarks, I think. I'll have to think about it. It's a shame, because up till now Firefox has been the best browser around.

Your Firefox crashes, mine freezes LOL! I don't understand why this is happening. I just hope my computer isn't infected with that freaking Conficker worm virus. Well I think my computer is virus-free, my recent scan confirmed it. I hope Mozilla will release a new security patch soon. Talking about updates, you should try to check now. Just go to "Help" at the Menu Bar then select "Check for Updates". If you some firefox add-ons installed, you should check for their updates as well. Go to Tools Options (Main tab ) Manage Add-ons Find Updates.

Thanks for the advice, I'll see if I'm all up to date. I've never had any trouble with Firefox before and this is very puzzling.
