Sense of humour

DO you think there is any such thing as an American or british sense of humour? I enjoy all kinds of different comedy shows shows from Have I got news for you, Whose line is it anyway? Not going out, frasier. Do you think you have a sense of humour that belongs to your country? Or are you a universal chuckler?

I don't really see that there is a big difference, other than when the humor centers around politics. Funny is funny, and I enjoy watching British comedy on BBC America as much as I enjoy American comedy. Every so often there is a terminology that I haven't heard, but I can usually figure out the meaning by how it's used.

Once I figured out what bangers and mash were, everything else just fell into place...lol. Who doesn't like Benny Hill, Fawlty Towers and Monty Python?
