Opposites attract but do they last?

I've seen my share of couples who are very different personality-wise but manages to make it work. There must have been a common ground at the onset that made the attraction but can it last? Will it last? Love may be the main ingredient in any relationship but it certainly isn't the only one that can hold a relationship together.

I personally don't think for the most part that opposites last very long. I know if I were with someone who had the complete opposite interests as me, I would get sick of doing everything alone and would want to be with someone who liked the same things!

That is so true...Don't even think of falling for the phrase where it says love can overcome all obstacles...Clearly, it woon't be able to not if both of you are soo different that you're secretly loathing each other's actions...You have to enjoy each other's company as much as loving each other. They go hand in hand in having a long lasting relationship. It's what i think... ;)
