What do you think of this quote, is it true or is it possible for a person to change their ways? I'm unsure about this, because I'm sure its possible for people to change, although I do not seem to be one of those people. I get easily stuck in ruts, and I form habbits extremely fast.

That could be right because people who cheat will always depend on cheating and they believe that cheating is an "art". A person can make a change to his/her personality but not too easy because when it is part of their routine. They could change by reducing their dependency on cheating until it is totally removed in their lives... =)

In my experience there is a lot of truth in the quote. From the psychological point of view the way we think, including how we perceive and analyse things, settles down at around the age of 18. Our scope of thinking starts narrowing after the age of 25. An ingrained behaviour will become difficult to dislodge. So if cheating has become an integral part of a person's life then it is highly likely the person will keep on cheating.
Nevertheless there are people who can change, or at least prevent themselves from cheating even though the desire is there. Or they use their experiences to guide others on what to look for.
all the best,
