India win test series in new zealand after 41 years

India has won the test series 1-0 as rained played spoilsport in the third test match. How do you feel about this victory in new zealand which has come after such a long time?

Now that india have conquered their final frontier new zealand, they are now a capable team of playing under any conditions anywhere & they can challenge now to become a supreme power in terms of sports cricket area. I feel now india has got the right potential to become the world cup 2011 winner.

Hello,Pratik! First of all I congratulate Dhoni and his men who brought the glory for India.Actually the full team could acclimatise in New Zealand and played splendidly well that we have no words to praise.Particularly I liked the batting of Gambhir,Dravid and Dhoni and bowling of Zaheer,Ishant and Bhaji in the whole series.All the best for Team India.thanx.

yes fortunately there was a warm up match before this series which would have helped the players acclimatise to the cold new zealand conditions. the bowling of zaheer and harbhajan was a huge contribution to the taem and possible this series win.

I feel TEAM INDIA played well under the leadership of captain DHONI... ........DHONI ALSO GAVE SACHIN A CHANCE TO BOWL.... WELL DONE TEAM INDIA

well, dhoni had no option as he had to turn to someone who could take the wickets and sachin as usual bowled his mixture of deliveries to good effect and almost won the match for india. thanks for reply. happy mylotting

It all depends on the conditions & the nature of the pitch.But you really cant take away anything from MSD & company.They played to their true potential.It all depends on the batsmen to score runs for the bowlers to back them.Till now the pitches in New Zealand were seamer friendly & the Indian batsmen had no clue how to play them & used to get all out below 200 runs.But now the wickets are suitable for batting & the Indian batsmen took full advantage of that & won comprehensively.Even now you give seamer friendly conditions for the Indians & just see the results.Only Dravid will be there like a wall , all others will fall.

the last time indians played in new zealand the wall dravid fell as well. what do you have to say to that? have you forgotten sachin tendulkar? he scores runs everywhere he goes. thanks for replying. happy mylotting

its a great feeling since everyone is waiting for a long time for it to come and after the last series to new zealand whre the batsmen really struggled this was an amazing turnaround from them and they played excellent cricket. everyone from gambhir to laxman played their best and pplayed a huge part in winnning this series . all in all it was a splendid effort from team india that they were able to win this series after 41 years.

they played very well and deserve this win,It was a very good team effort with almost all players contributing. it was sad that it started raining on the final day... but anyway 1-0 was good enough!

yes it was a bit disappointing that the series ended this way the match was india's pocket but rain played spoilsport still its a series win right so that is what matters. thanks for replying. happy mylotting
