naked

My son went through the wanting to be naked all the time stage. My daughter is 2 and she is going through it now too. Just keep trying to explain to him that naked is private and hopefully he will get it soon.

when my son was about the same age he used to run around the house and garden naked lol, think its just a stage, as my little girl is starting to want to run around naked and shes 2

this must typical of the age group. my son never wanted to wear clothes either, he would pull them off and run around the house everytime i would chase after him and put them back on. after awhile i got tired of it and just let him go around the house....bare butt and all. the only time i would MAKE him put on clothing is when we went to town, went to someones house, or when company came over. after some time he understood and it wasn't so much of a chore. then i think the thrill of driving me insane wore off also since i wasn't fighting with him. :)) today, he is 5 he will strip down afterschool but leaves his boxers on :) good luck. boys will be boys they always say.......sshheeewww.

I think its the age. My son is two and does this as well. If i put clothes on he yanks them off. The only thing he has trouble getting off is his shirt. I still find myself fighting battles.

I agree with the others who responded. its just an age thing. it's a phase that he will sooner or later outgrow. Just like when my cousin finally found his 'manhood' he refused to ever take his hand off of it for about 3 weeks.

I have the same problem with my soon to be 3 year old. He will keep his clothes on if he knows we are going some where or if company is coming over but as soon as we are home or the company has left it all comes off. But my son takes it to another level we are batteling. He thinks because he wants to be naked so does his soon to be 2 year old brother. the strips him down and then goes off to play. We have been battleing this for almost a year now and with the added deal with his brother I just dont know what to do. I have tried talking to him putting him in timeout for undressing his brother nothing is working.

I agree with everyone else. I have a little boy that will be 2 in June, and he doesn't keep anything on at home. Sometimes when he's at daycare he even tries it, but only a couple of times. We're potty training right now, he likes to take off his training pants and run around naked. It started a few weeks ago with him learning how to undo the snaps on his sleepers. He dad had been trying to teach him to take his clothes off so he could get himself undressed for bath time, that`s come back to get him now.
