Is He Really A Pastor?

Yesterday, I met a guy named Tosin, online, who told me the story of his father. Acording to the guy, he lost his 4 years ago. Shortly after the burial, his father got married to another woman and abandoned Tosin with his siblings, a boy and two girls. Before Tosin's mother died, he was in his 2nd year in the university. But due to the suden change in his father's character, he couldn't continue his studies. Now his father is a pastor in Lodon with his new wife. Though, Tosin speaks with him on phone regularly, but the father has refused to attend to them as his children. If a pastor can behave this way, what do you think he will teach his congregation? Tosin is in serious trouble now. He weep everyday and night. How do I console him? Please help to me assist him through your comments.

that man is a hypocrite. how can he say he is a pastor and yet abbandoned his children. Tell your friend to forget about him and move on like an orphan and God will open a way for him...

There isn't a lot to say and for that I am sorry. His father for whatever reason has turned his back on his home and created another one. I asume that Tosin is older if he at school in a university, but this still is no excuse for his father turning his back on his children.
I think he needs to realize that he can't change who is father is. His father will make mistakes and Tosin can't change them.
Maybe he needs to move on and grow to be that man that his mother would be proud of. Be the man that his father isn't.
