do you get along with your kids friends parents?

this is the first year that I am truly dealing with this, as my son just started kindergarten this year and he is getting new friends now through school... luckily I drop him off and pick him up everday so I am able to talk with the other parents while we are waiting on the kids.
so far, all of his friends that he made have pretty good parents...as I get along with them pretty well while we talk and let the kids play on the playground.
what about you....do you get along with your kids friends parents?

In my view parents and the kids are two different entity living on two different worlds. Sometime you it is not bed to get sniffed at by kid's parents. But I feel there should be a this far, and no further relation with them. Let the kids become friends and all by themselves and it would be unfair to interrupt them every time with 'do this do not this advice'.
So far the parents of the kids, hello, hi relation is better though some become closer and you can not help that either.
