I do believe that forgiveness not only makes a person high on his ethics but also makes him/her a great person. It also soothes heart & brings peace of mind. Hatred not only brings unhappiness but also a warning signal for ill health & diseases. Though sometimes we may have feel its very hard to say this but at least we must have to try this not only for others but also for his/her well being.

forgiving a person for their short comings not only make you at peace with that person but you also make peace with yourself...I always make it a point to forgive others instantly and not only forgive but at the same time forget what they have done in this there will be no grudges left and I will find it easy to be with that person again.... You gain lots of friends if you have this great values with you. I am good at understanding all my friends thats why its easy for me to forgive....

I really don't think I've ever forgiven anybody before. I've been mad or upset and just gotten over it, or I've just not cared in the first place. Both of those things are different than truely forgiving someone...it's just something I can't seem to do when it was a big thing they did. I'll still be nice to them or be their friend, but I'll always think about what they did to me, and never really forgive them for it. I just set it aside, and am angry in silence.
