The IPL and the T-20 has discovered a lot of talents over the years. when it was 50 overs match, all that the teams looks out is experience. The youngsters wouldn't get any chance to play for the country due to the experience funda. But in IPL and T-20 all that counts is strength and energy, you see that the T-20 world cup was won by the youngsters of India and not by the experienced players of India. apart from that even the captain of India was a youngster.

Well. Dont be hasty. Talents have always come out. Sachin was a youngster, Dravid, ganguly all were youngsters and these youngsters weren't found cose of T20. Ya i do agree with T 20 exposing more cricketers to international cricket. None of the current lot can match the experience and technique of sachin, Dravid, Laxman. In test cricket you do need experienced guys. Team must be a mixed of exp and youngsters. So better don ignore the role of test and 50 over match. Cose thats real cricket and Test matches test your technique. T2o you jus need luck and wham bham

Yes i do agree, but now test matches and 50 overs matches have become boring. people are more interested towards IPL and the T-20 matches, it is more entertaining and shorter than the test matches and the 50 over matches. you see now in a long run no one will intend to watch the test and the 50 over matches but look out for the T-20s

I will have to agree with what you said. It is true that not all talents were found in the T20 matches, but if you consider the rate at which youngsters are getting a chance to prove themselves, then certainly you are absolutely right. In fact, people seem to be reluctant to accept change, and so they fail to see the positive sides of this format of the game. They should be more open minded. The equations of the game have changed forever, and you cannot do anything about it! Certainly, the future of cricket is in T20.

u had more than 30 new indian talents in the last year IPL and only 2 or 3 of them made to the national squad and of that only oneis playing for nation aquad.what about the rest?they may be seen in television because of the exposure but the maximum they can do is get invitation to play for county crickets and get more money. i always believe changes r good but this change is also good but not for cricket but to money making business men and making the players play for money rather for the passion of cricket.

Well it will definitely help us find out new talents. I think it has been a latest trend in the cricket to play T20 matches. Hope we will get better players due to IPL. I am unhappy about IPL shifted to South Africa.

there were experienced players lie sehwag, harbhajan and yuvraj singh in the team who made a lot of difference in the t20 world cup so cant say just the youngsters won the cup. i do not think all that counts in t20 is just strength and energy you need a lot of brains as a bowler to succeed in this format of the game. although it provides a very good opportunity to the youngsters the senior players like pollock, jaysuria, mcgrath and even sachin tendulkar were a hit in the ipl.

Hello. Yeah, i think the introduction of T20 cricket has definitely discovered new talent. T20 requires extreme fitness levels, innovative shot selection, out of the box thinking to outsmart the opposition etc. T20 is definitely youngsters game, coz only fresh young legs can survive T20 cricket.Indian t20 team is full of youngsters which is ample proof of that.
