I'm trying to find good ways to relax.I find I'm uptight like 98% of the time.Just started to read up on meditation, and bought a few meditation cd's.I still need alot of help with this although. If you have any ideas for me to explore I'd very thankful if you could share your tips.

I am a teacher and just recently started teaching two extra hours each day. I'm on my feet all day also. So I feel your pain! My best way to come home and relax is by taking a walk or doing some kind of work out. Even though it's "more work" it makes me feel good , especially once I'm done! And after my work out I treat myself to a nice bath. Sometimes I read magazines while I'm in the bathtub. Sometimes I listen to my ipod. However I feel like relaxing that day. Oh and great smelling bubble bath is a nice addition to any bath. I love your idea of the meditation cds. I actually just thought about how great it would be to go out and buy a cd with the sounds of the ocean or beach and play it while I'm in the bathtub. I love the beach and see it as a very relaxing place. Good luck to you :-) and Happy Mylotting!

The great smelling bubble bath is a great point as well as the other things you mentioned. There really is something in aroma-theraphy that makes you feel good.Every room in my house has a different scent.Like in my livingroom I have a clean linen oil scenter,in my bedroom I have a hazelnut candle that smells great.

What is a good way to relax is put on some soft music. Put on head phones so you can hear the music real well. And just sit back and relax. That is what I have done all my life. It has never failed to relax me.
