Is we are giving too much priority to google

I am thinking that is we are giving too much priority to google. There are some other search engine also on net. But generally don't want to know about these search engines. I don't know why? But it is not good for anybody. If we rely too much on anything then this think become too much selfish may be this think happen with google as wel in future. At this time all google user face some real problems. So I want to suggest give priority to other search engine as well.
