Guess what? my account got blocked in CIAO!!!

i tried to log-in today but my username/password was denied...
i tried again a few hours after, this time, this is what i saw "BAD REQUEST -- Your browser sent a request that this server can't understand" ...
how many of you CIAO users experienced this???
I've read in another forum a similar experience...when it was nearing payout time, his account got blocked too...he was supposed to get a huge amount from CIAO...
same with me...i was supposed to get $75 + from CIAO this month...this is because i have referrals...
oh well.. at least i got $40+ from them last month....

Are you really received the $40 ?
Can you remember how long you received after request payout?
I really confused about CIAO, much of people say the SCAM and i am still waiting for their payment.

I already got my first payment from CIAO last march. I posted my payment proof in my website. They really pay. The problem started when they blocked Asia last April and also they banned people who had multiple accounts, spammers etc. When did you request for your payout? last march? If your account was not closed by CIAO, you should have received your payment last mid April.
Regarding my account, CIAO closed it because they thought I had multiple accounts. I emailed them. Now, they re-opened it. They were the ones who requested my payment to be transferred to paypal because since I'm from Asia, I can't access CIAO anymore. But I will be getting my last payment from them mid May.

To be honest it's not possible to earn huge amounts on Ciao unless you're doing it dishonestly. I have been on Ciao UK for over 5 years and on Ciao.com since June 2008. Your friend could only have been getting around $75 a month if he was doing something dodgy which would include rating reviews without reading them - if they were poorly written or copied reviews and you give them high ratings on a regular basis you will get deleted. If you go around adding dozens of friends on a daily basis asking them to rate your reviews you will also get banned. Ciao is not there as a money-making machine for people - it's supposed to be a serious consumer review site and people writing all that rubbish on the site do nothing for the site's credibility. Ciao is having a good old cleanup and it's not a moment too soon! Whatever action they have taken is because they have been forced to by 95% of the members on the site who are not rating honestly and are writing rubbish and getting their friends to give them high ratings.

Ciao responded to my email. The admin thought I had multiple accounts but I explained it to them that I only registered once....so now they re-opened my account. I'm expecting my payment anytime soon! :)

Well, I read in CIAO note that they blocked some countries to be a part of CIAO because of the cheating that is going on there for a long time. I have no idea either of what countries are blocked in CIAO but that is what I know. So, to come who can not enter the site maybe your country is one of those that are no longer accepted by CIAO. It's just sad that good people in that country were affected because of the bad ones.

I'm just glad that they re-opened my account. At least, I can get my earnings for march at last. CIAO made the request payment for me because I told them I can't access the site anymore since I'm from Asia. So I'll be getting my $75 this mid-MAY.
I'm happy because at least CIAO knows that I'm one of those honest members! ha!ha!

The account is not blocked but they are restricting access to ciao.com to only few countries.from where no any case of vindictive rating,spamming,or cheating has been reported.

Can you tell me the reason pls as to why they are blocking? The only site which i found out was ciao and they too are not allowing certain people which i don't know why?
I even emailed them but i didn't get any reply?

They blocked Asia because a lot of spammers and abusers come from Asia.
With regards to banning certain people...they just don't tolerate those with multiple accounts.
I actually told them in my email that if they're going to ban me, they have to remove my account and reviews because i think it's unfair. It's like they're using my reviews so that people can buy their stuff. I also told them that all my reviews were original and I had many referrals to their site. They also thought I had multiple accounts at first but I think they re-checked it so they re-opened my account again. The problem is that I can't log in because they blocked ASIA. One online pal said that you can use another browser to enter CIAO (TOR) but I'm not familiar with it.

I just be frank to you what is the reason why you blocked at ciao? my good friend got blocked also and the only reason he knows and he think that possible be was maybe ciao thinks he is a spammers and that's the reason why ciao banned some of their members..

Guess what!!! Today I got blocked at mylot. I don´t have the least idea why. I had to start another account. I was going to be paid more than $12 this month. I don´t even know how to contact because I don´t exist in my last virtual incarnation.It´s a hard life!!!
