Do you use shortcuts like LOL,BTW etc.?

ROFL = Rolling on the floor laughing. I tend to use 'LOL', but that's about the only one. Too many of the other abbreviations have more than one possible meaning and can be confused - or the person at the receiving end doesn't understand and I end up typing it anyway!

I use them. all the time. especially when texting my friends. I use lol, 2,4, 2day, 2morrow, 2nite, bhave, bhind, skool, da, dat and many more. some times I go haha, or if I am cheeky, I go hehe.

While participating in discussion i generally do not use shortcuts especially here in mylot where our quality and quantity counts but in other site like pl i used the word lol (laughing loud at) while posting where there no count of lines. Yes i do use these shortcuts while messaging via my mobile where we have to write with limited no of characters.

I use that for sms, I can save space and send more message. I also use them on my blog, my friends understand them anyway. I use them for forum occasionally. BTW, ROFL mean Rolling On Floor Laughing.
