Ok PLEASE be honest: did nursing hurt more than the actual birth?

I have asked mothers if their labor hurt and I've gotten different answers, for some people it was not so painfull and for some others was the worst pain in the world, but everytime I ask about nursing I get the same answer: IT HURTS! So I need a few more opinions, does it really hurt that much? Because when you read about it it says that if you do it right it shouldn't hurt.... Help!

Honestly, I don't think nursing hurt. I think it was more uncomfortable than anything. The repeated sucking almost felt like it does when someone pokes you over and over in the same spot, you eventually get irritated with the poking. It dosen't hurt, but it's uncomfortable.
