Keloids.. what is this thing??

doctor say i am having keloids...can any one say wht this disease/abnormality is and can any1 experience their sufferings if they too have same problem. i am worried aboutmyself now. searched on internet but didnt find a realistic answer which can explain me. so thought myLot is and right place to ask.
kindly help me if u have answer.

my ex had these..all it was was an outgrowth of extra skin,say from a scar,or a mole.in most cases they can easily be removed.it's usually nothing to be concerned about unless you don't like the look of it.

hi,
Can you help me with the process/procedure how can we get keloid removed.
Any kind of medication you can suggest, that wud be great pls.

as far as i know,there's no medication for it,it just happens to some people.
but what they do is either surgically remove it if it's big enough,or freeze it off depending on size.
if they're just small outgrowths,they usually elect for dermabrasion/resufacing of the skin instead.

I also have a keloid due to my caesarian operation. I am using Dermatix to heal it. Over a month of using it, I am seeing a very good improvement. You can try it.
