20 "free" gems

If you're a club member at pogo.com, you can get 20 gems added to your account. It's pretty easy, you just follow these instructions - On Pogo homepage click onto "My Account" at top of page, then click onto "View Your Billing & Subscription Info", then scroll to the bottom and click onto "Update"... as long as you have billing info there, you will be awarded 20 free gems. I did this and got my gems instantly, but I saw that my credit card was also charged $1.00 at the same time. SO it's not really free, but it's only a $1.00. If you want to get 20 gems for a dollar, this is the way to do it! I think it only works once though because I got a new credit card and when I changed that in the system I didn't get any more gems.

like some other companies they 'charge' you a dollar to verify your credit card account but they take that dollar out of the amount owed.

From what others have said, it's just a test and they take it back. I'm glad I wasn't just seeing things!!

Thanks for the info. I just joined pogo a few weeks ago. Of course I had to add 56 to the end of my name so if you see me say hi.

Have you also gotten your 12600 free tokens from pogo? At the top where it shows little bits of events or news one will come up that shows one about getting your part of 200,000,000,000. It is a one time deal also. Thank you for telling about the gems, I will have to go and get mine. Oh the 1.00 charge might go off of your account, it may just be their way of making sure the card or bank account is good but either way, like you said a dollar is good for 20 gems.

Just did this and got my free tokens. Thanks for the heads up! Not sure if I'll ever use them but it's nice to know that they're there. Maybe some day something will pop up that requires gems that will interest me. I've seen some nice backgrounds that I've passed on because they needed gems. I might finally get one of those or finally splurge on badges.

I know... There are a couple things that have caught my eye, but since I've only got the free ones I don't want to waste them...

That's cool! I don't know why the charged showed up on mine... I did have a different credit card from when my last renewal was, but when I added a different card the other day they didn't charge me...

Hey, it's worth a shot... I didn't hear anything about a hacker though.
