Curiosity killed the cat. But what trouble has it gotten you in?

I have always been a naturally curious person. A dreamer. Always eager to learn, however, not always eager to learn the things that really matter. My curiosity has led me to some fantastic places all around the world, some not so fantastic, some random experiences with some very random people and brought both joy and sadness to me and everyone around me. For example. At the tender age of 3 I had the suspicion that cling film, being transparent, may also have the ability to make me transparent or invisible to pick a better word. However, I later discovered my mum could definitely see me dancing naked and pulling faces in front of her while wrapped up like a cheeseboard. At 4 a dream of flying led me to hurtle myself down a flight of stairs. My parents were horrified and I was rushed to hospital. But at least I had quenched my curiosity. The wondering would have just been to much. At 15 I wondered what it would be like to kiss my friend's boyfriend. It was alright but definitely not worth the beating I got from my friend after school that day. At 18 I got curious about alcohol and woke up even more curious about why. Why my room smelled like vomit? Why my mum wasn't talking to me? And more importantly, why I had half a pizza stuck to my face? Flashbacks suck. At 22 I decided I wanted to marry my arab friend and went to Jordan to see if I could live like an arab for 2 weeks to help me decide. Really not a lot of fun. One mention of headscarf, six kids and stay and cook with the women while I go do man things and I was out of there. At 25 my boyfriend asked me to marry him and move to USA. I was curious what it would be like to be married and what living in USA would be like. It is fantastic by the way. othing has changed, we still have fun like always and USA is well, interesting, lots of room to inspire my curiosity. I dont know if that is a good thing though haha. So what trouble have you got into? How has your curiosity helped you or others? What good experiences have you had? What bad? What have you learned? I'm curious to know.

i am very curious and very nosy. sometimes when i go to someones house, when i go to the bathroom, i snoop! (havent gotten caught yet!) i am curious to the point where i like to learn new things all the time and do all sorts of different things. i do a lot of crafty things and look on etsy to see if i can get ideas and i am a history fanatic so i am curious in that field too.

Oh yeah, I do that too. Can't help myself. My husband's military records are sitting just next to me and it is taking me all my willpower not to go through them because I know they are probably confidential and I really shouldn't. Thank mylot for keeping me amused.
