you cannot use any money in an unverified paypal account. as you can see you can put money into an unverified account, but in order to spend it or withdraw it the account must be verified. Once verified you can spend it at any site that accepts paypal

Based from my experience you won't be able to purchase unless your paypal account is verified. Had to verify my account before they allow me to purchase from tq.

Actually you can buy from ebay even without a verified paypal address. However, the amount that you can spend will be limited. Since you have said you only have a few bucks, I don't think it should be a problem for you. If you are in the US, then it is really convenient to use paypal to buy items from ebay. If not, it would depend on the merchant whether he accepts paypal or not, so you would have to make sure first.

ehm..i think you must verified it first..why dont you do?maybe you can use VCC (virtual credit card)..many of us use it and it work

You can use your Paypal account to pay for items from eBay. However I think you need to verified your Paypal account before buying something there. Why don't just verified them?
