i definately think it is, you can forget about all of your problems that are causing you stress and enjoy buying stuff on sale or even if you dont have money its fun to try on things that look good on you. if you go with a guy you can make him carry all of your bags! jajaja

No, I can't say that this would be therapeutic for me at all. Because then I would be stressing over what I had spent, and I don't particularly like shopping enough to just window shop.

I do enjoy shopping even if it is to browse through occasionally. It is not something I want to do daily or spend too much on. I just think it gets my mind off other things sometimes by getting out and just looking at whats new out there.

When ever I am headed to the mall it is always therapy. I had a below the knee amputation last year and found that the mall is an excellent place to do therapy for walking. Sure, some people can be extremely rude and bump into you but in the morning hours there's hardly anyone there. Even before I lost my leg I viewed shopping as a way to get a little exercise and to do some window shopping. Of course when you don't have money you see tons of stuff you want then when you get some extra cash in your pocket you con't find anything that you really like.

Yes, I agree. Every time I am depressed, sad and frustrated in life, I have to go to the mall and shop for clothes and foods, otherwise I will go crazy with troubles and emotional problems.

Shopping is an effective therapy when you are really low or angry. You control your urge to shop limited by financial resources, but going shopping when angry, you are likely to get rid of the control, and pick up things for yourself, for people you care, to enjoy yourself and express your care for yourself, thus relieving greatly the stress and depression.

Shopping for me isn't just a therapy, i like to shop for others and then i feel really good about what I've done. I usually buy things for other people as gifts for Christmas and what not because then I'm not usually shopping around last minute. When i see something cute and i might have some extra cash to buy something i buy it and then i=I'm usually good when i need the gift for that person. I do like so hop, but there are certain prices i only buy things at and that is on sale at a really good price and then the clearance items is what i look for.

that gift idea is really good and i might try it, i also like to buy things on sale and on clearence and i really dont understand people who pay full price for something when they can get it for much less if the just wait till the price goes down. i only buy full price when i absolutely need it.

Yes, someties in life it acts as therapy as well. When your mood is off and in this time if you buy your favourite think then automatically your mood turns on.

YES! SHOPPING is a very good THERAPY indeed. WHY? Because for the simple reason that it relaxes you. But of course you need to know your limitations - financial limitations. And this is because if you will not be so cautious in spending you will have a headache in the end. That is for SURE! HAHA! Happy MyLotting!

Yeah, definitely suit me too! I like to go shopping and try out new clothings. Especially when I'm in stress or sad, I really like to go looking around new stuff and gadgets, so I can forget all matters that upset me. And it usually works! I don't need man to go shopping with me, because they will nag when you buy too much stuff.

If shop for snacks is a kind of shopping, then it is a kind of therapy for me. When I feel sad or low or want to cry, I will go to the supermarket, looking for snacks that I like, or I have never tried. Sometimes I just buy it, but not eat it up in a couple of hours or in a day.
