Welcome to my nightmare

April 9, 2009 3:46pm CST
I was laying in a city park down by the bay looking up at the stars, My wife was laying beside me, when hundreds of shooting stars appeared fro all directions, at first we were amazed by this but soon became terrified, more and more meteors began to fall, and comets began to appear with large tails. Above us the milky way became darkened as if hiding in a shadow and the earth began to shake. I looked back up into the night sky and it was if from the center of the sky, where the milky way once was a tear in space appeared and began rolling backwards like a scroll, I turned to my wife and said, "this is the beginning of the end", at that time I shot up in bed awake with my heart pounding and sweating. Tell me what you think this means?

You've been spending to much time reading the book of revelations and it is giving you nightmares. The sages always tell us that we (the Jews) should not study the prophets until we are old enough. Especially Daniel. They suggest that we wait until we are over 50. This is true. You must be mature enough and strong enough and knowledgeable enough to deal with it. Shalom~Adoniah

LOL Maybe you are correct, But I love the book of Daniel. When I was a child I thought of childish things, now that I am older I read Daniel! BTW do you feel up for a discussion? I would like to discuss this: )pardon my bad hebrew) echad shaneh malak, Daniye'l, biyn cepher micpar shaneh dabar (ha-Shem) Yirmyah nabiy', male' shib`iym. shaneh chorbah Yruwshalaim. Sorry for massicering the text but would you like to discuss this?

I am haveing a difficult time translating your hebrew. Why not rewrite it in english. I also have to confess that it has been awhile since I spent any time in deep study of Daniel. I have been working in others areas. We go through the whole Torah as the year progresses. Right now we are of course in Exodus. Shalom

Okay I was trying to keep it private, but Daniel 9:2 I believe, "in the first year of his reign, I Daniel understood by the books that the number of the years, whereof the word of [Adoni] came to Jeremiah the prophet, for the accomplishment of the desolation of Jerusalem, was seventy years"

I believe you have already stated what the dream meant in your dream. You said, "this is the beginning of the end". Your dream is prophetic.

That could be a now dream. It could possibly be a warning dream of things that are to come. It could be a dream for you and yours, telling you to get yourselves together before its too late. It's truly a dream with a message.

I am sure it is prophetic for reasons that I left out of the details, but is it something that is going to happen literally as i saw it, or is it symbolism? I will give you a little more, When it appeared as if the sky was rolling back like a scroll, I could see it was similar to clouds that were rolling, producing the effect of an opening scroll. I did not see the sky actually rip apart.

I think your subconcious mind is at work overtime. with all the things that are happening it seems that the time is comming fast and that information is probably in your mind in some way when you go to sleep. they say that our dreams are a reflection of our worries and fears.
